Business Development, Sales & Marketing Manager
Graves Construction Group Services, Inc., a nationwide general contractor celebrating its tenth year in business, is seeking a Business Development, Sales & Marketing Manager to support our continued growth. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations and work closely with Operations and Preconstruction to expand our presence in existing and emerging markets.
Graves Construction specializes in retail, grocery, restaurant/QSR, hospitality, senior living, industrial, and automotive construction. Our clients include national brands such as Floor & Decor, Chick-fil-A, Dutch Bros Coffee, Camping World, CarMax, Atria, and many others.
KEY REPOSNIBILITIES Business Development & Sales
Develop and execute strategies to grow our footprint in established and new markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, brokers, architects, program managers, and national brands.
Manage pursuits, client presentations, proposals, and CRM pipeline reporting.
Support client prequalification and procurement requirements.
Marketing & Brand Management
Lead the company’s marketing strategy and annual marketing plan.
Develop proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, capability statements, and project highlights.
Oversee website content, social media presence, digital communications, and marketing materials.
Coordinate conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and industry events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Align business development strategies with Operations and Preconstruction.
Assist in creating case studies, project highlights, and branded materials.
Support leadership with market positioning, messaging, and client communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing (commercial construction industry experience preferred).
Strong understanding of retail, restaurant/QSR, senior living, or commercial construction markets.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with CRM systems, marketing tools, and proposal development.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
