FOOTWEAR
DESIGNERS
with expertise and established networks in women's private label fashion. We are a footwear company that offers a variety of shoes for men and women. We are looking for a footwear designer who can work with us on a full time job.
Responsibilities
Creating original and innovative footwear designs that match our brand identity and customer needs.
Sketching, prototyping, and presenting footwear concepts.
Researching market trends and customer preferences.
Collaborating with other designers and stakeholders.
Working within deadlines and budgets.
Be an integral partner with merchandising, sourcing and product development teams to create a smooth transition between initial concepts and final products.
Strong knowledge of trends, consumer insights, new opportunities, and competition.
Unique insight into relevant market trends with a point of view on commercial viability of styles/silhouettes.
Consumer focused mind-set with an understanding of needs and the translation into product insights.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in footwear design in the fashion industry.
A degree or diploma in footwear design or related field.
Excellent sketching, prototyping, and presentation skills.i>
Proficiency in footwear design software and tools.
Knowledge of footwear materials, production, and quality standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
