About the Team Enterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA) team seeks to enhance and protect the reputation of Citi, its businesses and the brand through direct and indirect communication with Citi's various stakeholders, including our colleagues. The global Communications team is nimble, covering a broad scope of responsibilities from executive communications and public engagements to quarterly earnings and corporate reputation programs, as well as communications supporting our lines of business. Team members serve as company spokespeople to media, drive engagement with colleagues, and develop external and internal digital communications for a global workforce, closely coordinating with senior leadership and other ESPA team members worldwide.

About the Role As Vice President of Transformation Communications, you will support Citi’s Chief Operating Office (COO) by delivering high‑quality, strategic communications that proactively engage colleagues on the COO’s key priorities. Reporting to the Director of Transformation Communications, you will develop and execute compelling content that aligns with broader company objectives and resonates with employees, coordinating closely with Communications colleagues across Citi’s lines of business, functions, and regions.

Responsibilities

Support communications strategy implementation and tactical execution to enhance and drive awareness of key COO priorities.

Draft, proofread and disseminate communications for leaders in the COO function, including written and video messages, talking points, and town hall preparations.

Support functional leaders and partners in driving consistent messaging that is clear, conversational, and engaging.

Enhance existing communications best practices and governance and create new standards for communications where appropriate.

Develop creative tactics to break through and resonate with colleagues while leveraging primary web, video and town hall channels.

Support external communications needs as appropriate.

Support the creation of metrics reports using analytics software to measure communications effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management, communications, marketing or another related field.

Knowledge of communications or marketing and at least 6 years of increased responsibility for business management, preferably within a large, complex organization.

Experience managing content for corporate intranet sites, with basic use of Photoshop and HTML.

A leader who implements initiatives effectively and motivates others to contribute.

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including tact, diplomacy and the ability to influence senior executives.

Creative thinking, ability to approach communications from new angles, and a disdain for wordiness, corporate jargon and flat prose.

Ability to learn complex financial and business topics quickly and translate them into compelling narratives.

Integrity, maturity, dependability and a positive professional attitude.

Excellent organizational and project‑management skills.

Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organization.

Track record of delivering high‑quality work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $129,840.00 – $194,760.00.
