We're looking for an enthusiastic Technical Designer to join our private brands team. This role is ideal for someone with fashion experience, technical expertise, and an eye for detail.
Key Job Responsibilities
Create and review tech packs to ensure comprehensive and clear information is provided to domestic and overseas factories
Knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, sewing techniques, trim and construction
Follow T&A calendar to help fit styles
Oversee fittings: update tech packs and technical sheets
Liaise with production team to review fit comments and finishings specifications
Work with patternmakers, development teams to obtain accuracy for finishings and trims
Create technical drawings based on samples or pictures
Create and/or maintain fit guides measurements and silhouette integrity per garment category
Work with production team to arrange QC inspections at warehouse as needed
Evaluate samples for measurement, fit, construction accuracy and quality according to Brand standards
Transcript the finishing details of each piece on a technical sheet
Work with Fabric R&D team, production, and factories to re-engineer any artworks necessary from sampling to production
Experience managing technical products or online services
Qualifications and Experience
Must have 3+ years of technical fitting experience for apparel products.
Knowledge of pattern making, construction, industry fit knowledge and grading.
Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
