Role Description This is a 12‑month contract assignment. Contractors will be employed through our trusted staffing partners, not directly by Palo Alto Networks. The role is based in Santa Clara, CA (hybrid) or anywhere on the West Coast and reports to the Sr. Field Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

Develop, own, and implement quarterly marketing plans with clear strategic priorities and tactical initiatives aligned with regional and national partner goals.

Manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring all initiatives are executed on time, within budget, and deliver strong ROI.

Collaborate with partners to drive demand‑generation programs, event execution, and digital marketing campaigns.

Ensure ecosystem partners are aligned with Palo Alto Networks’ key sales plays and marketing priorities while upholding brand standards.

Serve as the primary marketing strategic point of contact for assigned regional and national partner programs within the West.

Partner closely with dedicated CBMs across the commercial segment to support marketing initiatives focused on new logos and opportunity creation.

Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with regional partners and internal stakeholders.

Report results to sales and marketing stakeholders via quarterly business reviews and cadence calls.

Track and analyze partner‑generated marketing impacts, campaign execution, and results to improve pipeline contribution.

Leverage marketing automation and processes to drive efficiency and team collaboration.

Meet or exceed quarterly MQL, pipeline, and bookings targets for supported programs.

Oversee key communication channels such as internal newsletters and update calls.

Provide weekly updates on marketing activities and performance through calls and email briefings.

Support special initiatives such as Ignite on Tour sponsorships, partner roadshows, and summits.

Qualifications

5–7 years of high‑tech marketing experience, preferably in a dynamic or fast‑paced environment.

Results‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships.

Hands‑on experience with Salesforce (SFDC), Allocadia or similar budgeting/planning tools, and G Suite.

Strategic thinker who thrives in both high‑level planning and flawless tactical execution.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and inform decisions.

Experience in channel/partner marketing or field marketing is highly preferred.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Compensation The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. The expected hourly wage range is $50–$55 per hour. This posting reflects only the hourly wage and does not include benefits. Sponsorship or visa assistance is not available.
