Event Marketing Coordinator – Responsibilities Event Planning and Execution (60%)
Support all aspects of networking and hospitality events.
Research and secure venues, approve menus, and develop seating plans.
Communicate with speakers, advisor teams, and event staff.
Prepare and ship event materials such as nametags, collateral, and technology.
Act as the main point person at events: ensure smooth operation with the venue, onsite staffing, greet attendees, manage speakers and perform all follow‑up reporting.
During and post‑event: encourage attendees to partner with Wealth Enhancement on their financial planning needs.
Coordinate Promotional Schedule For Events (20%)
Drive attendance for events, while executing them on‑time and on‑budget.
Collaborate and drive strong relationships with key contributors.
Coordinate various marketing tactics including direct mail, email, radio, and social media to drive event attendance.
Use Wrike for comprehensive project management and collaboration.
Proof, route, and enforce version control of marketing materials.
Maintain event budgets and process invoices.
Prepare Regular Reporting on Event Results (20%)
Prepare regular and proactive status updates.
Manage event details in Salesforce to ensure proper results tracking.
Coordinate data entry with Operations team post‑event.
Keep open lines of communication with internal sales team to capture feedback.
Research, recommend and implement event activities to deliver on “best in class” standards and improve efficiencies.
Education/Qualifications
Four‑year degree in marketing or related field.
2 years of event marketing experience.
Project management experience.
Ability to prioritize workflow and projects.
Well‑organized with excellent multi‑tasking abilities.
Polished, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Readiness to adapt to new processes and technologies.
Good problem‑solving skills, willingness to dig into issues and present possible solutions.
Innovative thinking and resourceful.
Ability to be flexible and collaborate as part of a growing, cross‑functional team.
High level of comfort with technology, including registration technology and A/V set‑up.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to travel 50%.
Salary Range Base salary range: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Position also eligible for an annual team bonus. We encourage you to apply and provide us with your compensation expectations when you do.
Remote Work & Travel Requirements
Remote role; priority to candidates in Colorado area (ideally Denver).
Able to travel 50% of the time for events.
