Overview
Digital Media Planner/Buyer at True Independent Holdings (True Media). The position is open in Minneapolis, MN; Columbia, MO; Kansas City, MO; and St. Louis, MO, and offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
Responsibilities
Participate in digital media planning and buying discussions for assigned client portfolio and channels.
Develop and execute tactical media plans and ensure campaign execution and delivery.
Collaborate with Activation Strategy Supervisor/AMD to integrate solutions into media plans.
Refine and develop processes in partnership with Activation Strategy teams.
Issue RFI and RFP efforts with existing and new vendors.
Understand measurement strategies and interpret them for channel specialties.
Research and compile data to identify desired tactics, measurability, targetability, scale, and efficiency.
Negotiate best possible rates and secure added value for clients.
Coordinate troubleshooting with appropriate departments and teams.
Maintain vendor relationships, seek innovative approaches and opportunities.
Serve as an expert on True Media tools and processes; train and mentor others.
Qualifications
One to three years of professional media planning and/or buying experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Strong understanding of media fundamentals: media math, reach/frequency, market research, plan development, analytics, measurement laddering.
Excellent communication with supervisors and team leads regarding tactical strategies and campaign delivery.
Ability to analyze campaign metrics and provide constructive observations and recommendations.
Develop and maintain positive vendor relationships with competitive negotiation skills.
Pass Google Analytics Individual Qualification, Google Ads Fundamentals, Google Ads Search, Google Ads Video/Display/Shopping, and Google Ads Measurement within 6 months of hire; renew yearly.
Education
Degree from a four-year college or university; concentration in advertising, marketing, or communications preferred.
