ShortList has partnered with an established Austin technology company to secure a dynamic Marketing Leader with a passion for scaling a brand within Enterprise markets.
This VP of Marketing will report directly into the CEO and will lead the push into an exciting new market sector for this established organization. Strong brand awareness and demonstrable results in high-profile content marketing are key elements for this role.
Responsibilities for the VP of Marketing
Develop compelling product positioning and messaging for the company’s Enterprise target market.
Own and build the company’s demand generation engine across all established channels
Build narratives that communicate differentiation and category leadership.
Provide insight into market trends, competitor landscape, and positioning.
Lead the Go-to-Market strategy for product features in partnership with Product and Sales teams
Create data-driven, performance-focused campaigns with clear KPIs and reporting.
Deliver predictable, scalable lead flow aligned with growth goals.
Partner closely with Sales to optimize funnel performance and conversion.
Establish marketing processes and systems to support ongoing growth
Drive accountability and foster a culture of ownership, speed, and transparency.
Qualifications for the VP of Marketing
10+ years of marketing leadership experience with recent Director or VP roles
Deep expertise in demand gen, lead gen, and revenue marketing.
Evidence of success in scaling marketing in a B2B SaaS company
Expertise in demand gen, lead gen, and revenue marketing.
Strong product marketing background
The successful VP of Marketing will be a results-driven individual who thrives on being an integral part of a rapidly scaling operation.
This role requires 3 days per week in the office in central Austin. You must be based in Austin currently to be considered for this role.
