About The Role The Social Media Content Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the online presence and reputation of Pandya Medical Center. This part‑time, remote position involves creating engaging, informative, and compliant content across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The successful candidate will develop and execute content strategies that promote our services, highlight staff and patient stories, and support community outreach initiatives. They will manage daily social media activities, monitor engagement, and respond professionally to comments and messages, ensuring that all interactions align with our brand voice and HIPAA compliance standards. Additionally, the role involves tracking analytics to measure campaign success, identifying trending topics in healthcare social media, and collaborating with leadership to align content with practice goals such as patient retention, new patient acquisition, and service awareness. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to managing digital content in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation (healthcare experience is a plus)

Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)

Experience with analytics tools to monitor engagement, reach, and growth

Familiarity with content creation applications such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

Basic photo and video creation/editing skills

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently

Understanding of HIPAA regulations or willingness to complete HIPAA training

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

Videography and short‑form video editing experience

Experience with reputation management platforms like Podium, Birdeye, or Google Business

Knowledge of SEO principles and website content updates

Ability to manage small marketing projects such as flyers, newsletters, and event promotions

Responsibilities

Develop, plan, and execute engaging social media content tailored to each platform, including posts, stories, reels, graphics, and short videos

Maintain a consistent posting schedule that reflects the practice’s brand voice—professional, warm, and patient‑focused

Capture and record in‑office events, staff highlights, and patient education content with proper consent and privacy considerations

Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and online reviews professionally, escalating issues as needed

Support online reputation management by encouraging positive patient feedback and engagement

Promote practice services, community outreach events, provider spotlights, and patient education initiatives through compelling content

Track and analyze social media performance metrics monthly, providing reports on engagement, reach, follower growth, and content effectiveness

Identify emerging trends in healthcare social media and suggest innovative content ideas and strategies

Collaborate with clinical and leadership teams to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and alignment with practice goals

Ensure all content adheres to HIPAA guidelines, respecting patient privacy and confidentiality
