Communications Security Operator (Dispatch) – 3rd Shift

The Communications Security Operator (Dispatcher) will maintain the safety and security of people, assets, and operations in North America, supporting the Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant – Liberty, NC.
Job Details Pay:
$20.00 p/hr.
Shift:
Wednesday thru Sunday 10:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Monday and Tuesday off)
Location:
Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant – Liberty, NC
Requirements:
Security Operations Center experience is required; previous dispatch experience and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real time.
Monitor the facility's CCTV to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications system, national weather, and act quickly and decisively.
Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
Provide support during emergencies (fire, medical, intrusions, natural disasters).
Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer-based software with a high level of professionalism.
Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
Provide security support for various client projects and events.
Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property.
Qualifications
At least 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Non-Commissioned security license through the state of Texas.
Previous dispatch experience required.
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with report writing.
Monitoring and surveillance experience.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Previous security experience is required.
Attentive to detail.
Must be able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required.
Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
