Communications Security Operator (Dispatch) - 2nd Shift
Marksman Security is hiring a Communications Security Operator in the Dispatch role to support the Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant – Liberty, NC. The position is part of our North America Operations Center and requires round‑the‑clock vigilance for 24/7 operation.
Shift schedule:
Friday through Monday 2:00pm to 10:00pm (Tuesday through Thursday off)
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real‑time.
Review CCTV for unsafe conditions, security violations, and mechanical problems.
Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications, national weather, and related systems.
Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
Provide support during emergencies such as fire, medical, intrusions, and natural disasters.
Operate radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer‑based software professionally.
Use facility badging software to enable and disable badges.
Support various client projects and events with security measures.
Enforce client policies for controlling access to client property.
Qualifications
21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Non‑Commissioned security license through the state of Texas.
Previous dispatch experience; strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with report writing and monitoring/surveillance experience.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Previous security experience and knowledge of security equipment and protocols required.
Must pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
Security Operations Center experience is required.
