Description Job Title: Assistant Community Manager Company: Red Tail Residential Location: TBD Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt Supervisor: Community Manager, Multi‑Site Community Manager, Area Support Community Manager, Senior Community Manager Job Description This position involves delivering exceptional customer service, conducting market surveys, and handling various aspects of leasing, including showing, processing applications, and managing move‑ins. Responsibilities also include daily updating of unit availability, processing maintenance work orders, adhering to operating procedures and policies, managing collections in accordance with company standards, providing clerical support, maintaining resident files for accuracy, overseeing move‑in appointments and inspections to meet Red Tail's standards, resolving resident complaints, conducting move‑out inspections, managing deposit accountings with Community Manager approval, maintaining accurate account records (NSFs, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other management‑approved transactions), and performing tasks or duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Special Requirements Physical Demands Regularly sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands. Required to climb occasionally. Specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. Work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods. Detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available for extended/flexible hours and weekends. Attendance/Travel Full‑time position, may require availability for nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Requires regular attendance and active participation/planning at company functions and events. Essential Functions Address needs of residents, prospects, and vendors. Handle high‑stress situations effectively. Exhibit strong leadership skills. Excellent communication and customer service orientation. Superior collection and sales skills. Administrative and organizational skills. Time management and prioritization. Knowledge of state law regarding fair housing. Qualifications Computer Skills Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge. Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Prefer knowledge of Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, Resident Check. Learning and Development Maintain commitment to ongoing professional development and career growth through the company's continuing education programs. Education High school education or equivalent required. CPM, CAM, RMP, or CMCA Certifications preferred but not required. Accurate performance of intermediate mathematical functions and use of all on‑site resident management software. Professional Experience Two years of experience in residential community management in the multifamily industry required.
