The position pays $30.00 — $70.00 per hour .
ARC Event Productions is seeking experienced freelance audio, video, and lighting technicians for contract work in the Bay Area, primarily in San Jose, Palo Alto, and surrounding cities. We support corporate, educational, and hybrid live events with a focus on client service and mission-driven storytelling. We’re looking for professionals who take ownership—not just of gear—but of the audience experience. Our techs ensure every voice is heard and every message lands clearly. Dependability, professionalism, and a calm, client-focused attitude are valued even more than deep technical expertise. This is project-based 1099 work for contractors with current business licenses and liability insurance. Rates are competitive and depend on experience and project scope.
Experience
Live event A/V support (audio mixing, projection, livestreaming, basic camera ops, or lighting)
Clear communication with clients, speakers, and teammates
Comfortable troubleshooting under pressure
Able to lift 50 lbs and work early mornings/evenings as needed
