Structural Design Technician

Jacobs Pay range: $61,100.00/yr – $84,000.00/yr Location
Available at any location in the United States; ideally near a Jacobs U.S. office. Responsibilities
As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you will work closely with clients and construction trade partners to develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines. You will convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models. Additionally, you may provide leadership for a small project, establishing project standards, procedures, training, and developing team morale. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field At least 1 year of Revit experience At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience Ideally: At least 2 years of Revit experience Experience with traditional steel and concrete structures Experience leading a team of designers Experience with healthcare/institutional/commercial buildings Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam Benefits
