Structural Design Technician
to provide leadership and support our Built Environment team.
As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team you’ll grow your skills and collaborate with clients and construction trade partners to develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate designs. You’ll convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models. You’ll also lead a small project with a team of designers, establish project standards, procedures, training, and develop team morale.
Here’s what you’ll need
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field
At least 1 year of Revit
At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience
At least 2 years of Revit experience
Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures
Experience leading a team of designers
Experience with healthcare / institutional / commercial buildings
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
