Structural Design Technician

Base pay range: $61,100.00/yr - $84,000.00/yr.
Responsibilities As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you’ll grow your skills and collaborate with clients and construction trade partners to develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate design solutions to accommodate existing conditions and other disciplines. You will convey structural requirements through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
You will also have the opportunity to lead a small project team of designers, establish project standards and procedures, provide training, develop your team, and build and maintain team morale.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field
At least 1 year of Revit experience
At least 3 years of AutoCAD design experience
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of Revit experience
Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures
Experience leading a team of designers
Experience with healthcare, institutional, or commercial buildings
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
Location Available at any location in the United States; ideally near a Jacobs U.S. office.
