Assistant Studio Manager Responsibilities:
Manager on Duty when Studio Manager is out, ensuring daily production is met and member experience is held to a high standard
Assist in coordinating initial and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, outreach)
Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems, including meeting performance metrics through membership sales
Manage, monitor, coach-develop and evaluate the performance of all Sales Associates
Compliance and adherence to Business Policies for daily studio operations
Assist with training and scheduling of all studio staff
Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)
Responsible for New Hire onboarding and delivery of initial Sales Associate training schedule
Ensure that all front desk systems are followed such as proper Member Check-In, Telephone Inquiries (general and sales related), Guest Registration, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, change requests and document scanning
Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service, using effective decision-making to help resolve customer service issues
Manage social media platforms, social calendars, and monthly newsletter, using marketing tools for effective community involvement
Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound
Assistant Studio Manager Qualifications:
Proven sales and leadership experience is required
Must possess excellent leadership skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and members
Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work and function in a team environment
Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed
Passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their goals
Previous management experience in the health & fitness industry strongly preferred
