Beyond Studios is seeking a Web Designer with a strong foundation in graphic design. This role blends creativity and technical expertise, working across brand identity projects, client websites, and digital campaigns. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable designing for both visual storytelling and functional user experiences.
Responsibilities
A Web Designer at Beyond Studios will be responsible for:
Designing and maintaining visually compelling websites that align with client brand identities and business objectives.
Supporting lead designers on long-term branding projects and time-sensitive digital design requests.
Developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts clearly.
Ensuring responsive design and consistent UI/UX across platforms and devices.
Collaborating with the team to bring designs to life and troubleshoot web-related issues.
Maintaining internal and client brand guidelines while evolving creative direction where appropriate.
Balancing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
Required Qualifications
Applicants are expected to have 2–3 years of hands-on experience, with a strong emphasis on web and digital platforms, including:
Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and other coding languages.
Familiarity with no-code platforms such as Webflow and e-commerce systems like Shopify.
Experience optimizing design for SEO, accessibility, and performance.
Knowledge of digital marketing channels and how design contributes to engagement and conversion.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma.
Practical experience applying design principles (balance, contrast, emphasis, proportion) in web environments.
Understanding of layout, typography, and color theory as they apply to digital interfaces.
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and marketers.
Experience in client interactions: presenting ideas, gathering feedback, and adjusting designs accordingly.
Strong project management skills: planning, scheduling, and executing web design projects from inception to completion.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
