Role overview Report to the Director of Marketing and partner closely with the subscription sales team. Own demand generation and retention for subscription and other recurring revenue products like memberships revenue through email, digital advertising, CRM automation, copywriting, analytics, and campaign execution.
Key responsibilities
Integrated planning:
Build and execute a year‑round, multi‑channel sales and marketing plan focused on email, digital advertising, and sales enablement.
Demand generation:
Drive B2B acquisition and subscription pipeline through targeted campaigns and audience segmentation for our group and individual subscriptions, SBJ On Campus program and membership support for mid-career professionals.
Paid media:
Plan, launch, and optimize digital advertising; manage budgets and measure ROAS.
Email journeys & CRM:
Design and run lifecycle/nurture programs; use Salesforce/Marketing Cloud to score, segment, and automate communications.
Analytics & reporting:
Own multi‑channel KPIs and report results to stakeholders.
Copywriting & brand:
Produce high‑quality, persuasive copy for emails, ads, landing pages, and collateral.
Sales partnership:
Work closely with subscription sales and editorial to align strategy, lead handoff, and campaign‑driven content.
Project management & collateral:
Manage timelines and milestones across campaigns; develop and maintain marketing and sales collateral; leverage AI to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
3–4 years B2B marketing experience, preferably with subscription/renewable revenue.
Proven track record driving pipeline growth and managing paid budgets.
Hands‑on with email marketing, lifecycle journeys, and digital advertising; proficient with Salesforce and Pardot or similar automation tools.
An aptitude for martech capabilities and use.
Strong copywriting portfolio; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Analytical, highly organized, collaborative; passion for the sports industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
