We are seeking a Technical Illustrator to transform complex technical concepts into clear, precise, and visually compelling illustrations. In this role, you will work closely with the product analysis team to interpret detailed information from CAD models, blueprints, and product specifications. Possessing strong mechanical proficiency and the ability to visually convey a clear narrative are essential for translating technical data into high-quality illustrations. Applying software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools to build visuals that improve our global parts catalog. Your keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills will ensure that each illustration accurately represents the technical information, facilitating better understanding and usability for end-users. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines will be essential. Your contributions will be integral to delivering high-quality technical documentation that supports product development and enhances customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do:
- Create and revise vector and hybrid vector/raster illustrations for the Global Catalog (GCAT).
- Source serviceable parts data from a variety of platforms, including Siemens Teamcenter Engineering, CAD files, raster blueprints, build sheets, installation drawings, product brochures, and photographs.
- Explode assemblies using 3D CAD data and blueprints to produce 2D isometric illustrations.
- Design and create illustrations using Teamcenter Visualization Mockup, Adobe Photoshop, and IsoDraw.
- Vector-trace components to emphasize detail using thick and thin contour techniques.
- Edit and enhance raster images using Adobe Photoshop.
- Ensure accuracy and quality by collaborating with Parts Analysts.
- Interpret engineering data and blueprints to solve complex illustration challenges.
What You'll Need:
- Associate degree in CAD, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience in technical illustration.
- Experience with Siemens TeamCenter, VisMockup, IsoDraw, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of technical illustration principles.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications, including effective sub-folder organization and file management.
