Fun Volunteer Videographer Needed! Job at Compassion Without Borders in Santa Ro

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Volunteer Videographer to help us tell our story and highlight the incredible work being done at our rescue organization. This is a volunteer position that directly supports our mission by creating engaging videos for the community, donors, and fosters.

What You’ll Do

• Film at our local clinic to highlight volunteer opportunities and showcase our impact.
• Produce short donor videos featuring staff and leadership sharing the difference donor support makes.
• Create a video orientation for fosters to help them get started and feel supported.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

• Experience with video production: filming, lighting, and audio.
• Ability to edit videos into polished, engaging content.
• Creative storytelling skills to bring warmth and authenticity to each project.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with staff and volunteers.

Equipment

• MUST have your own professional-quality digital camera, equipment, and editing software.

Commitment

• Flexible schedule; projects will be on an as-needed basis
• We are looking for a volunteer candidate who lives near Santa Rosa and can meet at our Sant Rosa office

The Ideal Volunteer Candidate

• Will bring their video/film education and experience to all areas of production-from filming to post-production, including editing and graphics.
• Enjoys creating educational videos and short clips of our work with animals to share our mission.
• Excited to also create scripted videos for marketing purposes.
• Holds a degree in Video/Film, Communications, or a related field OR has comparable hands-on experience (we value the quality of your work over formal education).
• Lives near Santa Rosa and can come to our Santa Rosa office
