Position Overview:

Deliver specialized instruction utilizing research-based teaching techniques that address the diverse needs, interests, and abilities of K-12 students with visual impairments. Adapt the curriculum and modify instructional materials to meet the specific learning requirements outlined in students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate daily with support personnel, teachers, and parents to foster strong relationships and promote overall student progress. Qualifications:

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the Teacher of Students Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired Endorsement Demonstrated knowledge of current teaching techniques and best practices for students with visual impairments Proven ability to effectively write, implement, and manage Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) Why Make a Move with Cross Country Education?
