Position Overview:
Join a robust team that includes four full-time Teachers of the Visually Impaired and a dedicated O&M Specialist to help promote student academic and functional independence. Provide direct essential itinerant TVI services to K-12 students across the district, requiring travel between sites. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and providing specialized instruction in Braille, screen readers, low vision aids, and compensatory skills. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or Visual Impairments Active Maryland Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired Certification (TVI) Proficiency in teaching current best practices for compensatory skills Why Make a Move with Cross Country Education?
Top Compensation: Earn up to $40.30 - $46.40 Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
