The Marketing Specialist II will support key digital initiatives by managing email marketing activities, improving Marketo calendar processes, and producing brand-compliant content. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to quickly understand brand guidelines, and the capability to contribute meaningfully to email scheduling, template updates, campaign reporting, and optimization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage email schedules, templates, updates, and sends while ensuring compliance with brand standards.
- Lead Marketo Calendar Management process improvements and performance sharing.
- Compile incoming content into brand-aligned email templates and collaborate with Marketing and Digital teams on required updates.
- Generate weekly reports on email campaign performance.
- Monitor and evaluate email KPIs, recommending tactics to improve campaign performance and drive lead generation.
- Upload lists, build and maintain Smartlists, test and deploy email sends.
- Develop and maintain documentation for email processes, A/B tests, and promotions.
- Understand regulatory and approval requirements for medical device marketing materials.
- Support tradeshows digitally by implementing best practices, coordinating across franchises/divisions, and providing reporting.
- Build new HTML templates in Marketo (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Digital Marketing.
- 5+ years of digital experience, especially in marketing.
- Experience creating and executing digital strategies, content development, and email campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with Marketo and marketing automation.
- Experience working with content management systems and collaborating with technical team members (business analysts, IT, developers).
- Experience executing analytics projects or working closely with analytics teams (Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics preferred).
- Strong understanding of digital customer experience principles, UX design, digital asset management, taxonomy, metadata, social media, paid search, and SEO best practices.
- Deep practical knowledge of digital tools and methodologies within a regulated industry, preferably medical device or healthcare.
- Global experience preferred.
- Experience supporting tradeshows from a digital standpoint.
- Experience designing HTML templates for Marketo.
