Location: Washington, DC; New York, NY; Austin, TX; or Chicago, IL (Onsite 3 days per week; 2 days for New York-based candidates).
Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Card Marketing to support the Head of Credit Marketing on a six-month contract. This role will lead strategic initiatives to drive cardholder engagement and spend, while managing a small team and collaborating across key business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic thinker with hands‑on experience in credit card marketing at scale.
Analyze consumer insights and market trends to inform marketing initiatives.
Oversee campaign management, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer engagement goals.
Develop and execute card marketing strategies, including onboarding programs and spend stimulation campaigns.
Utilize data analysis to measure campaign performance and optimize future marketing efforts.
Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to maximize marketing impact.
Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
8+ years of experience in card marketing or financial services marketing, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Strong understanding of card products and consumer behavior.
Proficiency in data analysis and digital marketing practices.
Experience in brand management and customer relationship management (CRM).
Demonstrated success in campaign management and project management.
Familiarity with Adobe marketing platforms and Tableau reporting.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
