Position: Pressure Vessel Designer Location: Ocean Springs, MS We are seeking an experienced Pressure Vessel Designer with strong 2D AutoCAD skills. This role plays a key part in supporting our engineering, design, and procurement teams, ensuring we deliver high-quality, compliant products to our customers.
Responsibilities: Review specifications and perform ASME code calculations to ensure designs meet required standards. Create and update detailed drawing submittal packages and revisions for fabrication. Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to support project success. Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII Division 1 and customer specifications. Provide technical expertise to continuously improve design processes and support future growth. Qualifications:
Experience designing pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII Division 1 standards. Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and mechanical drafting principles. Strong understanding of mechanical drafting protocols and best practices. Ability to read, interpret, and apply customer specifications to designs. Knowledge of ASME code requirements (preferred). Familiarity with inspection and testing procedures related to pressure vessels and piping (preferred). Detail-oriented, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, dependable work ethic, and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
