What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Support the development and execution of communication programs and materials aimed at engaging Tribal nations
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies
• Assist in the creation of audience‑centric campaigns for social media and earned media activities
• Foster partnerships through effective communications and outreach efforts
• Utilize marketing and communications expertise to authentically engage with Tribes and Alaska Native villages

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of directly applicable experience in a communications or PR agency setting, or 2 years plus an advanced degree
• Registered member of a federally recognized indigenous tribe
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• 3+ years of directly applicable experience in public sector communications
• Lived experience on a reservation
• Knowledge of American Indian and Alaska Native health‑related campaigns
• Experience in writing content for various channels, including social media and websites
• Interest in collaborating with federal and state‑level agencies
