Our AEC client is looking for a graphic designer to assist their team! This is a 40hr/week freelance position starting as soon as mid-December for 3 months, with potential to extend. Candidates located in Seattle are preferred (especially if they are able to come into the downtown office 1x/week), but can also be remote for someone working Pacific hours.
Responsibilities
Producing both print and digital marketing assets including digital templates, brochures, presentations, flowcharts/org charts/schedules, event materials, ads, social media graphics, and web content
Being highly adaptable and responsive to feedback while working alongside subject matter experts and the Client Experience team
Translating complex or technical information into clean, accessible visual communication
Layout, typography, color, composition and the ability to follow and apply brand guidelines
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); knowledge of Canva, and/or other animation/video tools is highly preferred
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager
Qualifications
2 to 3 years of experience in agency and/or in-house roles, demonstrating proficiency in both print and digital graphic design
Ability to translate business objectives into purposeful design solutions
Capability and willingness to balance creative thinking within established brand guidelines
Expert-level proficiency with design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is essential
Familiarity with HubSpot, WordPress, Webflow, and additional web design or video editing tools; basic understanding and competency in HTML/CSS is preferred
Exceptional project management, high standards, acute attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and resourcefully
AEC experience is a plus
