Responsibilities
Partner with local sales leaders to identify and build strategies for high‑impact opportunities to engage customers and prospects in‑market. Serve as a connector between functional marketing, Trade Expansion, Engineered Solutions, and Field Leadership to align execution and planning of localized events and community initiatives that drive foot traffic and sales.
Serve as a brand ambassador for White Cap and supplier partners at local trade shows, industry events, and association meetings. Provide tailored marketing support for new branch openings, relocations, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
Align marketing priorities with White Cap objectives, sales targets, and field needs. Use market insights and performance data to inform strategy, positioning, and resource allocation.
Ensure field marketing initiatives comply with the omni‑channel strategy, delivering a consistent customer experience across physical branches, digital platforms, and sales channels. Amplify local campaigns through digital marketing, email, social media, and e‑commerce.
Track and report on effectiveness of field marketing activities, including ROI, acquisition, retention, and engagement metrics. Use data to continuously improve campaign performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key supplier partners and field leadership to co‑develop marketing programs that enhance brand visibility and drive mutual growth. Maximize supplier marketing funds through strategic planning, execution, and post‑event reporting.
Nature and Scope
Consults with senior management on solution development for complex strategic and technical business issues; independently solves unique and complex problems with broad impact.
Establishes operational plans for assigned area and serves as a strategic advisor, contributing to development of company objectives.
Guides and mentors staff at all levels; may lead or manage complex projects with dotted‑line responsibility.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area; infrequent and non‑objectionable unpleasant conditions.
Mostly seated work with frequent opportunity to move about; occasional light lifting.
Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in a related field, or MS/MA with 8+ years of experience. Maintains expert knowledge in area of responsibility and a strong understanding of adjacent areas.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated history of managing multiple high‑impact projects simultaneously in a decentralized, fast‑paced, field‑based environment.
Direct experience applying B2B omni‑channel marketing principles and customer engagement across the full lifecycle.
Experience supporting or partnering with field teams to localize campaigns and drive engagement.
Experience collaborating with supplier partners.
Strong project management experience with financial and budget knowledge.
Strong understanding of local field marketing, digital marketing, content strategy, brand management, and demand generation principles.
Ability to translate data and insights into actionable marketing strategies and recommendations.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Live in the Eastern Time Zone.
Remote role that requires overnight travel within the assigned territory for up to three days each week.
Remote / Hybrid Details This position may be remote or hybrid based on location. Eligible candidates residing in the greater Atlanta area may be asked to work two days a week in our Doraville, GA Field Support Center.
