Training Content and Communications Specialist

Be among the first 25 applicants. This role is a 6-month temporary assignment, hybrid at the Sacramento, CA office. You will write, develop, and update procedural and training documentation for various functions of the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and subject matter experts to gather relevant knowledge and translate it into clear, digestible content for internal and customer audiences. This position requires experience in training content development, technical writing, or instructional design, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred; an understanding of relevant laws, processes, and regulations in this space will be helpful. 2+ years of relevant experience and the ability to provide a portfolio or relevant work samples during the process will be required. Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr This is a 40 hour per week, W2 contract, with payroll and benefits through LHH. Pay ranges from $35 to $40 an hour depending on relevant experience. LHH contractors are eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) enrollment and accruing CA paid sick leave. Write, edit, update, and develop new procedural and training documentation for the various functions of this organization, with an emphasis on regulatory information relevant to the financial services space. Work closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to gather, vet, and translate information into tangible, digestible content for internal and customer audiences, with a focus on clarity. Aid in ensuring materials are delivered to and accepted by relevant audiences, driving adoption and engagement with these materials. Serve as a training documentation and writing resource for cross-functional teams, aiding in scoping new projects, SOPs, documentation and internal communications. Use Sharepoint to communicate relevant updates and new procedural information to company staff. Qualifications

2+ years of relevant experience in training content development, internal communications, instructional design, or similar with a portfolio or samples of relevant documentation projects. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to translate and shift voice for relevant audiences to ensure adoption. In-depth experience working across organizations, engaging different teams in scoping and developing new SOP or documentation projects, and conducting research to confirm accuracy. Proficiency in Sharepoint and relevant LMS and design tools for light design support work. Portfolios are not required for consideration but samples may be requested during the interview process.
