Posting Summary: Part‑time adjunct faculty, teaching up to 12 credit hours in fall/spring and/or up to 8 credit hours in summer. No guarantee of continued employment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teach specific classes in Photography, in‑person and online.

Develop course syllabi and instructional materials.

Maintain records, assign grades, and assess student progress.

Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations of GCC and VCCS.

Maintain current competence in the discipline.

Essential Functions Meet assigned classes regularly; submit required records and reports; teach prescribed courses with established texts; uphold professional ethics in accordance with College policies.

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree with at least eighteen graduate semester hours in Photography.

Ability to effectively teach in classroom and online settings.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to use instructional technology.

Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools.

Additional Considerations

Prior teaching experience.

Work experience in the field.

Experience with online teaching.

Substantial proven experience with innovative teaching and developing online courses in both synchronous and asynchronous learning environments at a regionally accredited institution.
