Marketing Assistant/Specialist II (Contingent) Contract role providing services to Amazon through external staffing partner Allegis Global Solutions. If selected, you will be employed by the contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Amazon.

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic marketing professional to lead development and execution of sophisticated digital marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement and revenue growth. This role offers the opportunity to shape customer experiences through innovative email marketing programs, onsite merchandising campaigns, and automated CRM strategies. You will work at the intersection of creative marketing and data‑driven decision making, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver compelling campaigns that resonate with our online audience. The ideal candidate will combine technical proficiency with strategic thinking to optimize customer touchpoints and contribute to the evolution of our digital marketing roadmap.

Responsibilities

Drive the creation and implementation of new automated email programs

Develop and execute onsite customer experience and merchandising campaigns

Build email campaigns and execute traffic‑driving efforts to support sales objectives

Report on progress against goals and relevant email metrics to senior management

Assist in the development of the vision and strategy for the email and CRM roadmap

Coordinate creative asset production in partnership with a dedicated design team

Edit XML and HTML code and publish content to site via Content Management Systems

Create and edit content symphony campaigns

Create and edit content for sonar campaigns

Skills

Designing and executing digital marketing campaigns across email, mobile, and display channels

Writing customer‑facing copy that is on‑brand, relevant, and tailored to online audiences

Proficiency with Content Management Systems

Ability to edit basic HTML and XML

Advanced Excel skills including VLookups, Pivot tables, and data manipulation for analysis

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Team coordination and senior management communication

A/B and multivariate testing

Customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Analytics tools and web traffic reporting

High attention to detail and relentlessly high standards

Project conceptualization, scoping, and execution to strict deadlines

Self‑motivation with a demonstrable bias for action

Task prioritization in fast‑moving, dynamic environments

Experience

3+ years of experience designing and executing digital marketing campaigns, including email, on‑device/mobile, and/or display

Experience managing large‑scale email marketing programs preferred

Experience with Quip preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required
