Responsibilities

Lead informed consultation and oversight to administration of defined governance program with focus on adherence to regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and corporate policies and standards to ensure consistency and operations within segment risk appetite.

Lead maintenance and accuracy of business continuity plan and processes through knowledge of team functions and engagement with Marketing SMEs; this includes related teammate training and meeting program deadlines and deliverables as outlined by Third Party Program Management as they extend to quarterly/annual attestations and testing requirements.

Lead identification of departmental records, quarterly attestations and annual review in accordance with EIS program guidelines. This also extends to review of internal files for adherence to storage and maintenance requirements.

Develop and administer consistent monitoring and oversight to Marketing owned third party vendor management, to include performance and issues management and resolution.

Develop and execute quality control monitoring across Marketing to enable enhanced management and performance of key tasks and projects.

Provide consultative expertise in self‑identifying and driving documentation of issues/remediation plans and controls, leading the team to ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation and gap resolution.

Apply knowledge of best practices derived from experience to solve a range of complex risk and operational problems that lead to defined process requirements and team adherence.

Provide informed perspective and challenge on existing solutions to solve complex problems by exercising judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information; view business challenges from diverse perspectives to effectively liaise between Marketing and other stakeholders.

May serve as team leader for other consultant or specialist teammates and/or liaison to a Marketing Operations support area or greater Marketing team.

Works independently and receives minimal guidance; act as a resource for teammates with less experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.

Five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated contribution to marketing strategy development to solve complex and/or unique risk and operational problems.

Experience managing or leading projects or project work streams and operates as a lead in a specialty capacity.

Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market.

Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.

Ability to provide direction, coaching and mentorship to experienced teammates.

Fluent in Excel and PowerPoint, preparing presentations for senior level teammates.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or MBA.

Five years of related experience.

Experience in the financial services industry, risk and operational management.
