Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals, ensuring high engagement and a resident‑focused experience.
  • Process community staff payroll and maintain community invoices for timely payment.
  • Ensure collections of all rent and that revenues are deposited promptly.
  • Maintain occupancy at a minimum of 98% and keep positive relationships with the community owner and residents.
  • Review rental applications for approval and complete move‑out paperwork according to regulations.
  • Perform unit move‑outs, annual and housekeeping inspections in a timely manner.
  • Audit all resident files to ensure they are complete and correct prior to supervisor review.
  • Submit required reports to government agencies, administrators or the company.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience as a residential property manager with HUD / Section 8 a plus, or 3 years as a general manager with strong people leadership and process management.
  • High school diploma; associate’s degree a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to exceptional resident service.
  • Deadline‑driven and detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and quality.
  • Computer skills and fluency with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience a plus.
