This is an exciting opportunity for passionate visual storytellers to help illustrate the impact of our services during both disasters and normal operations.

• Work alongside Communications Leadership to creatively convey the remarkable stories of the Red Cross.
• Capture dynamic photos and videos at events, training sessions, and disaster responses, adhering to Red Cross brand standards.
• Take diverse shots including portraits, candid moments, and studio images to vividly portray the Red Cross's commitment to service.
• Edit, caption, and upload your visual content to our online platforms; ensure timely sharing with local chapter and regional communication teams, ideally within 24 hours.
• Share compelling images and videos across social media platforms to enhance our outreach and engagement.
• Collaborate with local social media teams to showcase your work and the stories of those we serve.
• Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients, volunteers, and partners, ensuring all necessary photo releases are obtained.
• Effectively organize and deliver all photo/video documentation, ensuring captions, quotes, and releases are in order.

During Disasters:

• Collaborate with the communications team to identify key narratives and priorities for visual storytelling.
• Be ready to deploy to disaster scenes and capture impactful moments that reflect the Red Cross's response efforts.
