About the role Agora is seeking an experienced

APAC Marketing Manager

to lead marketing initiatives across the region, with a focus on

tech and AI communities . The ideal candidate is fluent in

English and Japanese , highly organized, and passionate about engaging developer ecosystems, tech audiences, and driving brand growth through

events, PR, and content creation .

What you’ll do

Event Planning & Support:

Plan, organize, and execute regional

tech and AI‑focused events , including hackathons, developer meetups, webinars, and conferences. Provide on-site support and coordination for seamless delivery.

Developer & Community Engagement:

Build relationships with developers, partners, and tech communities. Create programs that foster engagement and awareness around Agora’s AI and conversational technology solutions.

Public Relations (PR):

Collaborate with media, partners, and stakeholders to manage press releases, tech‑focused media coverage, and corporate communications.

Content Creation:

Develop high‑quality content for tech audiences, including blog posts, technical guides, case studies, social media updates, and presentation materials.

Marketing Campaigns:

Support regional marketing campaigns targeting

developers, AI practitioners, and enterprise clients

to drive adoption and awareness.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product, sales, and regional teams to align marketing strategies with technical product launches and community initiatives.

Reporting & Analysis:

Track and report on community engagement, event outcomes, PR impact, and marketing performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

• 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in

tech, AI, or developer‑focused marketing .

• Fluent in

English and Japanese

(both written and spoken).

• Strong experience in

event planning, PR, content creation , and developer community engagement.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

• Passion for technology, AI, and developer ecosystems.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, regional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AI, conversational platforms, or software developers.

• Knowledge of APAC tech markets and developer ecosystems.

• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, developer advocacy programs, and social media platforms.
