Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to situations as needed. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
- Monitor the environment for unusual or suspicious activity and promptly report findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and information, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address concerns and support a secure environment.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or actions taken during patrols and shift activities according to company procedures.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
