- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and manage communications from the dispatch center, coordinating responses to incidents and requests for assistance throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information as needed to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and reporting findings as required.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch communications, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as necessary.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal personnel to support security-related operations at the location.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Being at least 21 years of age is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
