Role Purpose The Marketing Automation Specialist will be part of Corning Optical Communication’s Global Digital Marketing Team and is responsible for executing strategic email and digital campaigns within Marketo, a marketing automation software. This includes the creation and activation of campaign templates, lead nurturing programs, list uploads, etc.

Key Responsibilities

Build, execute, and translate digital activities and engagements into Marketo, ensuring accuracy as well as performance/analytics align with reporting structure and strategy.

Become a Corning expert on marketing automation campaigns by using in-region resources (website, Lead Development and Sales Development, Field Sales, webinars, etc.) to further engage, capture, and develop leads.

Partner with marketing managers and specialists to execute lead development strategies using programs, campaigns, and lead forms.

Coordinate the integration and execution of electronic marketing activities with marketing managers and specialists for events, trainings, mail campaigns, programs, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.

Upload lead lists generated from various regional marketing initiatives and advise project managers on best practices for campaigns.

Conduct A/B testing of campaign parameters, measure results, and adjust tactics to maximize results, as appropriate for the complexity of the campaign.

Audit all campaigns for accuracy, consistency, brand standards and best practice guidelines.

Reports directly to Marketing Manager, Digital Demand Generation.

Experiences/Education - Required

Bachelor’s / 4-yr degree in Marketing, Business Operations, related field.

3-5 years – experience in Marketo (or comparable platform) software is required.

Experience in Marketo software (or comparable platform) is required.

High acumen with all Microsoft Office programs.

Analysis skills, including ability to build / interpret reports and collect metrics.

Experiences/Education - Desired

Knowledge of Stensul and Salesforce.com platforms.

Ability to work well in a team environment that involves multiple points of contact, global coordination, and obtaining information from multiple sources.

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with higher-level directors or executives.

Ability to influence others without specific authority.

Proven time-management skills and ability to hit deadlines under pressure.

The range for this position is $70,350.00 - $96,732.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
