This role involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of visually impaired students. Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to ensure accessibility. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success. Utilize assistive technology and resources specific to visual impairments. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records. Provide training and guidance to school staff regarding accommodations for visually impaired students. Qualifications: Certification or licensure in Visual Impairment or related special education fields. Experience working with visually impaired students in a K-12 setting.
