Role Overview
The Automotive Content Strategist & Copywriter creates high-impact content that drives traffic, trust, and sales for Unplugged Performance. You will write and optimize product pages, blogs, landing pages, ads, and social copy while maintaining an organized, searchable content library. You will apply SEO best practices and use Google Analytics (GA4) insights to improve key pages for higher conversion. This role works closely with our marketing team in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly and execution matters.
What You'll Do
Marketing Operations / Content Systems
Own and maintain our content library (photos, video, copy, design files), keeping assets organized, searchable, and up to date.
Build and manage workflows for content intake, approvals, version control, and publishing across web, email, and social.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure content is delivered on time and aligned with launches and priorities.
Content Production (Blogs + Web)
Write and publish high-quality blogs, product pages, landing pages, and press releases that match our performance-driven brand voice.
Maintain and evolve on-page SEO best practices (keyword strategy, internal linking, metadata, structured content, and content refreshes).
Creative Support (Photoshop / Ads)
Create and resize ad creatives (static) for paid campaigns using Photoshop (or similar tools), including basic layout, typography, and brand‑safe design.
Collaborate with marketing to develop hooks, headlines, and creative concepts that convert.
Performance & Optimization (Analytics)
Identify underperforming pages (product pages, landing pages, blogs) and recommend content updates to improve clarity, engagement, SEO performance, and conversion rate.
Fast-Paced Execution
Thrive in a high‑output environment with shifting priorities. You are also able to pivot quickly, stay organized, and maintain quality under tight timelines.
What You'll Need
Genuine passion for automotive performance and the Tesla ecosystem
Demonstrated experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry
Comfortable using Google Analytics (GA4) to evaluate page performance and make data‑driven content improvements focused on conversion.
Technical knowledge of suspension systems, aerodynamics, and vehicle modifications
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in accessible terms
Proven ability to maintain composure and deliver solutions in high‑pressure situations
Meticulous attention to detail when processing orders and tracking customer information
Proficiency with CRM software and order management systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Working knowledge of Photoshop (or comparable) to produce and adapt ad creatives.
Proven ability to apply SEO best practices to blogs and product/landing pages (and measure impact).
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with frequent priority changes and short turnaround times.
Able to keep content calendars, asset status, and deliverables moving.
Bonus Points
Previous experience with Tesla vehicles or EV performance modifications
Hands‑on experience installing aftermarket automotive components
Background in automotive parts sales or technical support
Knowledge of track performance optimization and race preparation
