Product Marketing Specialist

to join the critical power and infrastructure rack power distribution team in the

Data, Power & Control Division , in an on‑site hybrid role in our

Reno, NV , or

Somerset, NJ

offices. You will collaborate with a team of product marketing experts and play a crucial role in supporting product and feature launches, promotions, and customer communications. This position requires initiative, professionalism, and integrity.

What Will You Do?

Translate technical features and product information into meaningful positioning statements and value messages that inform and engage customers, partners, and new market segments.

Create and manage technical marketing materials and website content, including sales and product collateral, landing pages, emails, product guides, FAQs, slide decks, and other enablement tools.

Support product management, engineering, digital/campaign/channel marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and feature releases.

Perform market research to identify our ICP’s needs, desires, and challenges.

Monitor competitor positioning and messaging; develop strategies to respond to their messaging and marketing activities.

Support marketing and communications teams with product content for search strategies, including videos, knowledge base articles, white papers, tech notes, case studies, website copy, blog posts, and other enablement tools.

Occasional U.S. travel for in‑person visits to our offices (in Reno, NV, and Somerset, NJ) as well as for off‑site team meetings, industry events, and client meetings (usually within the U.S.).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university with an emphasis in Product Marketing, Marketing/Communications, Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field, a plus; or equivalent certifications and work experience.

Product Marketing certification a plus (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product Marketing Alliance, Product School, Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM) from AIPMM, etc.); or equivalent certifications and work experience.

Experience

A minimum of 2‑4 years in B2B inbound/outbound product marketing within a technology‑focused environment, such as computer or networking technology, emerging technologies, hardware, or related experience.

Knowledge of, or experience in, messaging and positioning products to data centers will be very helpful.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Strong oral and writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to resolve problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

Strong organizational, project management, and planning skills.

Ability to work independently and in group settings.

Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and audit process is a plus.

Physical Requirements The work environment is fast‑paced, and priorities can shift quickly.
