Position to fill: Senior Backend Web Developer

Salary range: US$100k -$135k base with stock options

Well look no further; our client is a FinTech start up creating cutting edge technological products using the Blockchain for the securities and trading space.
Required Experience
Extensive experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and jQuery
Experience with modern web frameworks such as Angular, Ember, and React.js
1.5+ years experience with Python and Flask (or 2.5+ years experience with a similar web framework, and some experience with Python)
Extensive experience with SQL, APIs (REST, JSON-RPC, etc), and Git/GitHub
1+ years experience with Linux (Ubuntu and Bash experience preferred)
Must live in the United States and be open to relocating to the NYC metro area within 6‑9 months
Highly Recommended
Previous UI/UX design experience
Experience with Test-Driven Development, unit testing & functional testing
Scrum/XP/Agile experience
Nice to Have
Previous Bitcoin development experience (or minimal respectable knowledge and experience with public key cryptography and cryptographic systems)
Familiarity with other tools and technology powering our stack: RabbitMQ/Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, HAProxy, Nginx, jQuery, Selenium, Travis, Docker/fig/Ansible, Wiki/Restructured text, AWS, NoSQL (Mongo/Cassandra/etc), Pingdom
Previous FinTech experience — experience working with financial systems’ UI/UX
