Instructional Designer at AB Mauri North America

Objective We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to develop and deploy rapid e-learning training for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-learning authoring tools and consistently deliver high-quality work on time with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

eLearning Development

Design, develop, and implement engaging e-learning modules using industry-standard authoring tools (e.g. Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate).

Create visually appealing, interactive e-learning content aligned with defined learning objectives.

Test and troubleshoot e-learning courses to ensure optimal user experience across all platforms.

Instructional Design

Analyse learning needs and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective instructional strategies.

Develop storyboards, scripts, and course outlines that apply adult learning principles and industry best practices.

Continuously improve instructional content based on learner feedback and system adoption data.

Learning Management

Upload, manage, and track e-learning using the organization’s learning management tools.

Monitor learner progress and generate reports to evaluate training effectiveness.

Provide technical support to users navigating e-learning programs.

Training Intake and Analysis

Conduct training request intakes to collaborate with stakeholders to identify the root cause of performance gaps.

Evaluate stakeholder data and requests to inform learning solution recommendations.

Propose solutions that best address organizational needs, considering time, delivery method, and available resources—even when these differ from initial client requests.

Qualifications

Experience

1-3 years of experience in e-learning development.

Proven track record of successfully implementing multiple training deployments from design to deployment.

Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, English (Communications), Corporate Training, Graphic Design, or a related field.

Skills

Proficient in e-learning development tools (e.g. Articulate, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite).

Strong personal accountability and effective self-management.

Excellent problem-solving and resourcefulness in varied situations.

Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Requirements

Portfolio of work required.

Ability to travel as needed for project requirements, approx. 10%.

Experience in change management and business process re-engineering is a plus.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Hybrid Schedule.

Location: St. Louis, MO.
