Business Development & Marketing Coordinator Foster Garvey PC, one of the Pacific Northwest's leading law firms, is seeking a talented and dynamic Business Development and Marketing Coordinator to join its Business Development & Marketing team.

The Business Development & Marketing Coordinator supports the firm’s BD and marketing activities, including assistance with BD and marketing materials, such as attorney biographies and photographs, newsletters, client-facing events and meetings; and maintenance of department databases and the Foster Garvey website. The Coordinator also assists with BD research and firm sponsorship.

This is a full-time non-exempt position located at our Seattle Office. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 90 days of working in the office. Occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Assist with drafting, editing and maintaining marketing collateral for the firm, including attorney biographies, service descriptions and placemats/brochures

Draft and produce newsletters

Maintain and oversee inventory of branded client gifts

Coordinate attorney photos, including scheduling sessions with outside photographers, upload photos to the firm’s website and Intranet, and maintain electronic files of all photos

Organize, execute, and support firm-sponsored events, including seminars, receptions, and other client events; handle all details from conception through execution and follow-up

Work with the firm’s content management system to document and track all client outreach; maintain client mailing lists

Collaborate with the BD & Marketing team and firm Research Center to research new business opportunities

Fulfill requests for BD materials, including bios, service descriptions, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, and more

Maintain payment of department invoices and credit card reconciliation

Additional duties or projects as assigned

Skills

Exceptional writing and editing skills; strong familiarity with AP Stylebook

Outstanding attention to detail

Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines

Excellent verbal communication skills

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and Excel)

Familiarity with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and WordPress is a plus

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal clients and other employees of the firm

Ability to organize, verify, compose, and analyze data to complete general functional procedures

Exceptional client service focus and skills

Ability to accurately identify problems and use proper channels to address concerns and suggest appropriate ways to improve procedures and techniques

Ability to take initiative, work independently, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, manage a high volume of work, and meet deadlines under pressure

Education & Experience

Undergraduate degree required

Two to four years of relevant business development and/or marketing experience; law firm or other professional services business development or marketing experience preferred

Prior experience with website updates using a CMS (Content Management System) preferred

Salary Range The pay range for this position is $57,500-$75,000 annually; however, actual pay may vary depending on the candidate's education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
