Job Description This Knoxville, TN based role is pivotal in designing engaging, effective, and scalable learning experiences that support employee growth, compliance, and performance across the organization. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to transform complex concepts into impactful training solutions.

Essential Job Functions

Design and develop instructional materials for in‑person, virtual, and self‑paced learning formats (e.g., eLearning, videos, job aids, workshops)

Conduct needs assessments and analyze performance gaps to recommend learning solutions

Apply adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), and learning technologies to create engaging content

Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes using tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar

Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals

Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

At least 1 year of experience

Graphic design or video editing experience

Experience creating facilitator guides, visual aids, workbooks, classroom training, blended/virtual sessions, or e‑learning

ADDIE methodology knowledge

Familiarity with Articulate 360 (Storyline) and Adobe Creative Cloud
