Contract Graphic Designer (Templates & Ongoing Support)
Sing for Hope (singforhope.org) is seeking a Contract Graphic Designer to support our communications team with template design and ongoing collateral production. This is a freelance engagement, beginning with an hourly arrangement for the first 2–3 months, with the intention of transitioning to a monthly retainer once scope and cadence are clear on both sides.
Scope of Work
Email template
Social media graphic template(s)
Standing banner/signage template
Ongoing Support
Light, fast revisions to existing materials (most requests are 15–30 minutes)
Updates typically involve swapping in new copy, dates, times, or headshots
Occasional larger projects, scoped separately with reasonable timelines
Most deliverables are produced as digital files
We have clearly established brand guidelines. This role will apply those guidelines and help create light guardrails for materials co‑created with partner organizations.
An annual report may be added to the scope later in the year (August/September) and would be scoped and compensated separately.
Work volume will vary: Some weeks may have no requests; other weeks may include multiple small requests per day.
Fast turnaround is important to us for simple updates, and we are looking for a designer who can prioritize time‑sensitive requests when they arise. We are thoughtful about scope, realistic about timelines for larger projects, and clear in our communication.
Who We’re Looking For
A designer who thinks in systems/templates, not one-offs
Strong typography and layout skills
Experience designing templates used repeatedly across multiple events/programs.
Reliable, responsive, and comfortable managing variable workloads
Familiarity with nonprofit, arts, or mission‑driven work is a plus
Contract / freelance
Hourly for the first 2–3 months; goal to transition to a monthly retainer
Remote; availability during U.S. business hours preferred
