Job Description We are seeking a creative and highly motivated Associate Designer to join our lifestyle casual wear team, supporting both branded and private label apparel lines. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop seasonal collections and ensure the accuracy and organization of all design assets. If you are detail-oriented, skilled in garment construction, and passionate about creating compelling apparel, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Create CAD sketches for styles in development
Ensure the accuracy of technical packs, including detailed sketches, fabric and construction information, trim pages, and placements
Meet all design deadlines in accordance with the seasonal calendar
Contribute to the creation and development of seasonal lines
Set up seasonal CAD presentations
Maintain link files, assortment boards, fabric and color libraries, design archives, and inspiration boards
Assist with special projects as assigned
Develop seasonal prints and embroidery layouts
Create graphics and labels
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design with strong knowledge of garment construction
Minimum 2 years of experience in the fashion industry as an Associate Designer in junior, missy, or teens categories
Proficient in Adobe programs and MS Office
Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
Must work on-site in the NYC office five days per week
