Endoscopic Technician – Providence Alaska Medical Center, Anchorage, AK Under supervision, the Endoscopy Technician safely performs endoscopic procedural assistance and ensures a safe environment. Duties include patient positioning, observation, vital signs, and supporting the Registered Nurse. The technician also provides technical endoscopic assistance to General Surgeons and Gastroenterologists, facilitates patient flow and transportation, stocks rooms, orders supplies, answers phones, and handles clerical tasks. This is not intended as a comprehensive list of all duties the technician may be required to perform.

Schedule: Per‑demand, 0.01 FTE, Day shifts, hours per week as needed.

Required Qualifications

National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

Minimum 6 months experience as an Endoscopy Procedure Technician.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a certified nursing course, medical assistant course, or related health‑care class.

Minimum 1 year of general clerical and patient‑care experience in a health‑care setting.
