Community Manager
The Community Manager is responsible for the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. The role manages all phases of the operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management. The manager ensures compliance with Asset Living’s policies and procedures, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Personnel Management: recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; manage weekly/daily schedules and assignments; address performance issues; promote a culture of collaboration and high performance. Financial Management: achieve the highest net operating income through cost control and revenue/leasing improvement; develop annual budgets and forecasts; reconcile deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices; ensure accurate ownership financial reports. Strategic Leasing Management: develop yearly marketing plans; complete leasing procedures – closing, follow‑up, signing/documentation – and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date reporting systems; implement resident retention programs; manage resident complaints and satisfaction. Administrative & Maintenance Management: ensure administrative reports are accurate; lead emergency response; oversee maintenance requests and service turnaround; maintain property appearance, conduct inspections, and manage resources efficiently; supervise construction and rehabilitation activities. Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred or four‑year industry experience). Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with on‑site software functions. Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements
Communicate effectively, perform repetitive hand/wrist motions, work overtime, weekends, and night hours (emergencies). Stand, sit, move about, ascend/descend ladders and stairs, operate machinery and power tools, work in confined spaces and under varying temperatures. License & Equipment
Reliable transportation required due to emergency on‑call duties. Salary Range
$50,000 – $52,000 per year. Seniority Level
